Does the eyepiece have threads so that filters can be attached? Judging by the photos I can tell that this eyepiece has such thread, but Levenhuk Ra Plossl 6 mm 1.25" Eyepiece does not... That means I won't be able to use a filter with it, right? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Ra Plossl 6 mm Eyepiece does have a filter thread as well as Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm Eyepiece.

Could you please tell me if I understand it correctly... In order to achieve the highest practical power of my Celestron NexStar 127 SLT telescope which is 250x (focal length is 1500mm) I can use this eyepiece, right? Can I install filters on this eyepiece? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm Eyepiece will help you to obtain the highest practical power of your telescope. Yes, the eyepiece has a filter thread.

Loyd Vang (2014-11-30 08:01): Positive
What is the difference between this eyepiece and Levenhuk Ra Plössl 6 mm 1.25" Eyepiece? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Ra LER 6 mm Eyepiece has longer eye relief (20mm). It is very convenient for people who wear glasses and provides for more comfortable observations in general.

Randal Grimes (2014-10-17 04:59): Positive
what about 6-8mm eyepiece? and Barlow lens? are those suitable for Celestron AstroMaster 114EQ? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, this eyepiece is suitable, the magnification will be 125x-166x. As for Barlow lenses 1.25" models fit your telescope.

Randal Grimes (2014-10-17 04:44): Positive
could you help me please? which eyepieces can be used with Celestron AstroMaster 114EQ? Levenhuk Customer Service:
For use with your telescope you will need eyepieces with 1.25" (31.75mm) barrel diameter. To obtain the maximum useful magnification of the instrument you will need an eyepiece with 4.5-mm focal length.

Stuart Sears (2014-06-17 10:49): Positive
Thank you for your answer. Excuse me for one more silly question: how does eye relief affect comfort of use? The description says that I can observe in glasses? Does it mean that I won't have to press my eye to the eyecup, and I can observe with 20 mm distance? Thanks in advance! Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, that's right. With the Levenhuk Ra LER 6 mm eyepiece you can observe wearing glasses at a distance of 20 mm. With the Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm eyepiece you need to keep your eye very close to the eyepiece.

Stuart Sears (2014-06-16 07:13): Positive
Hello! What, apart from the price, is the difference between Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm and Levenhuk Ra LER 6 mm? Is it reasonable to buy the more expensive one? Or image quality will be the same? I have Celestron PowerSeeker 80 EQ. The telescope itself is not expensive, so should I equip it with such an advanced accessory? Thanks in advance! Levenhuk Customer Service:
The main difference is eye relief. Levenhuk Ra LER 6 mm eyepiece has long eye relief of 20 mm. Image quality will be almost the same, but with Levenhuk Ra LER your observations will be more comfortable.

Allen Brooks (2014-05-14 07:07): Positive
Is it going to provide sharp image with Celestron 80 GTL (900-mm focal length) while observing planets? Or is better to purchase 12 mm eyepiece? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm Eyepiece is perfect for planetary observations.

David Simmons (2014-05-14 07:07): Positive
Will it give me sharp views with Celestron 80 GTL (900 mm focal length) during planetary observations? Or 12 mm eyepiece would be better? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm Eyepiece is perfect for planetary observations.

Bob Forbes (2014-01-20 09:08): Positive
Will this eyepiece alone be more preferable than 9 mm eyepiece combined with 2x Barlow? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm Eyepiece is a preferable choice.

Is it suitable for use with Celestron C70 Mini Mak? What is the maximum magnification? Will the image be alright or blurred? Or there's no point in buying this eyepiece? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm Eyepiece used with this scope will provide 125-fold increase. It can be calculated easily by dividing the focal length of the tube (750) by the focal length of the eyepiece (6 mm). Accordingly, this value will be within the scope's capabilities and the picture will be sharp.

What's the difference between http://www.levenhuk.com/products/eyepiece-levenhuk-ra-plossl-6/ and http://www.levenhuk.com/products/ocular-levenhuk-p63/ besides the price of course:) Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Ra Plossl 6 mm 1.25" Eyepiece and Levenhuk Plossl 6.3 mm Eyepiece have the same optical design, the only difference is focal length.

Ruby Riggs (2013-12-18 04:29): Positive
Thank you for the answer but one thing is not clear to me... I can get 140x by using the eyepiece alone or I still should combine it with 3x Barlow? Levenhuk Customer Service:
You will get this magnification by using eyepiece only (without any Barlow lens).

Ruby Riggs (2013-12-17 06:30): Positive
Can I use this eyepiece with 3x Barlow lens and Sky-Watcher BK707AZ2 telescope? Or should I buy 2x Barlow? I want to achieve 130x increase. Levenhuk Customer Service:
To obtain the highest practical power (140x) you should use 5 mm eyepiece, for example, Levenhuk Ra LER 5 mm Eyepiece - http://www.levenhuk.com/products/eyepiece-levenhuk-ra-ler-5/
